While this is true, it’s not enough to write a text-rich blog post and hope for engagement – eight seconds! You need to capture your audience’s attention or followers and want them to participate from the beginning actively. Creating interactive content marketing is essential to perform it. Hence, we can increase revenue with marketing strategies like these three below.
It is easily accomplished with something called interactive content ads. While posts like blogs and e-books are considered inactive, interactive posts require the person to actively participate throughout the content, whether it’s merely tapping, scrolling, or answering a question. In the following guide, I’ll give you three tips you can use to capture the viewer’s attention and set yourself apart from the competition.
Social Media Live
The Black Mirror television series has a unique incident called “Bandersnatch” that will allow you to choose designer Stefan’s moves along with his final destination. While you probably won’t go this route with your promotional and marketing videos, a simple interactive marketing tool is to use a Facebook Live or other social media live streaming where you answer questions and accept comments virtually. Here’s a great illustration. It’s a fun and simple two-way conversation that involves everyone in the episode, rather than me talking “to my followers.”
Polls and Questions
These are all great multimedia advertising tools for social networks. Let’s start with polls. Again, I can go with a Facebook example because it’s easy to earn a quiz while you’re creating your post. Here’s the way: aside from surveys, the ideal thing to do to encourage engagement quickly is to put a query in your Facebook data feed simply. It helps to relate the query to your business. You want your audience to be moved and excited to answer your question, whatever it may be. Here’s an example from one of our clients, owner of Malarys Fashion Network, a clothing boutique in Cloverdale, BC.
Yvonne framed a fashion-related topic in a lighthearted way on her FB webpage and got many shares, for example, 20 comments. On some fascinating issues related to her business. Listed below are some generic units that might offer support. Can you recommend some good books on [your type of product or service] for the summer? What business advice would you give yourself if you were starting out? If you could run your business at any point in history, when would it be and why?
Infographics
Infographics work to engage images to communicate statistics or other information quickly and clearly. Neil Patel wrote a wonderful article about the power of infographics in 2014. It still applies today, and you can see it on our website. However, now is the time to quantify your infographic game with interactive elements. It indeed takes more time and effort to create a two-way infographic than a static one. However, if it’s relevant to your business and captures your audience, the traffic, engagement, and social action you receive (which leads back to your website) will be worth it.
